What a bulk check does

You upload a list of IDNOs — from a file or pasted in — and get each company's current name, legal form, status in the State Registry, registration date and main activity. What would mean opening a hundred profiles one by one happens in a single pass.

Numbers absent from the registry are listed separately rather than buried: usually a one-digit typo or a company struck off long ago, and those are exactly the ones worth a second look.

Who it is for

Accountants checking a client portfolio before reporting, procurement teams facing dozens of bids who want to know who they are dealing with, and anyone who inherited a list of partners and does not know how many still exist.

What the statuses mean

"Active" means the company is on the register with no termination entry. "Liquidated" means the procedure is finished and the legal entity no longer exists — there is nobody left to sign a contract with. "In liquidation" or "insolvency" means the procedure is running, and payments to such a company deserve caution. Status comes from the State Registry and is refreshed weekly.

How to prepare the list

One IDNO per line, no spaces or dots — an Excel column pastes in directly. Today's numbers have 13 digits, but companies registered up to around 2005 have shorter ones, from one digit to ten: they are valid and searched the same way, so do not pad them with zeros. If your list has names next to the numbers, keep only the numbers — name search is separate, because names repeat while an IDNO is unique.
